STUDENT AWARDS

Student Recognition

Students will be recognized at our awards assemblies. Parents are encouraged to attend these assemblies and join in making this a special day for the students being honored. Parents will be notified in advance when their children are recognized. The following awards may be given:

Academic Excellence

Teachers select students who have exhibited outstanding academic accomplishment in any area of the curriculum.

Citizenship

Teachers select students who have demonstrated the qualities of a good citizen through following rules, accepting responsibility, responding to peers with sensitivity, showing kindness to others.

Extraordinary Effort

Teachers select students who have shown growth in a behavioral or academic area.
